Doppelbock Recipe

(5 Gal. All-Grain)

Ingredients:

6.6 lb. Pilsner Malt

1oz.. Chocolate Malt

5 lb. Vienna Malt

10 oz. Crystal 20 Malt

1 1/4 lb. Vienna Malt

6 oz. Cara-pils Malt

1 oz. Light German Crystal Malt

2 oz. Munich Malt

Czech Lager Yeast

Mash Schedule:

122F - 1/2 Hr.

140F - 1/4 Hr.

151F - 1.5-2 Hrs.

Hop Schedule:

1 Hr. - 1. oz. Hallertauer Hops

30 min. - 1 oz. Spalt Hops

15 min. - 1/2 oz. Tettnang Hops

Comments: A full bodied malty sweet strong

beer with low hop bitterness and flavor. No hop aroma.

Age well for a smooth mellow brew.
